Newly Discovered Goryeo Celadon and the Achievements of Underwater Archaeology in Korea

To honor 50 years of normalized Korea-Japan relations, the Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka (MOCO), and the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage of Korea co-hosted an exhibition entitled Newly Discovered Goryeo Celadon and the Achievements of Underwater Archaeology in Korea.
Running until November 23 and comprising over 250 pieces from Korean and Japanese archives, the exhibition marked the first time an overseas audience witnessed Goryeo celadon from underwater excavations. Supplementary materials such as video footage, photos of underwater excavations, and maps were provided.
